Art Clay Silver 10g

This 10g pack of Art Clay gives you 9.2g of silver when fired.

This formula has a better workability and longer working time than previous formulas, retains and accepts moisture easier, keeping supple and easier to reconstitute and also carves, file and drills easier in the dry stage.  

As before this silver clay can be fired with glass, some stones and fine silver. You can fire it with a torch, on a gas stove, or in a kiln. Simply shape your item, leave it to dry, and fire it  and the result is a pure silver piece. This pure silver piece can then be hallmarked as fine silver (another name for pure silver) at any UK Assay Office.   Shrinkage is 8-9%.
