Delivery
Unfortunately due to the every increasing cost of postage we have had to put our prices up. Rather than hide the cost by increasing our prices we feel it is better to be transparent and therefore we now give you the option of choosing which Royal Mail service you would prefer us to use. Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 24 service is £5.50 and Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 48 service is £4.50 and both cover items up to £150 but unfortunately not jewellery items or precious metals, these will only be covered if you select the Special Delivery option.
Express delivery services are available as follows: Special Delivery which guarantees next day delivery by 1pm (from date of dispatch) and is insured for up to £500 will cost £8.95 for packages upto 500g and is available for Monday to Friday deliveries. Should you require items to be sent Special Delivery with a guaranteed delivery on a Saturday then the cost will be £13.50 for packages upto 500g. Where heavy items are requested to be sent Special Delivery we will contact you before despatch to discuss the delivery options and charges with you.
If your order is over £50 or contains jewellery items we strongly recommend you select Special Delivery as we can not be held responsible for replacing any items lost in the post that are not covered by insurance. 1st class post is only covered for £20 compensation if the package goes missing, jewellery items are not covered unless sent by Special Delivery. If your item goes missing you will be responsible for the recovery of any loss by the Post Office. We will assist by providing details of tracking numbers and dates and times of postage but will not be responsible for recovering the loss for you. Orders will be sent out within 48 hours of receipt where ever possible but this is not guaranteed. If you require something urgently please phone to check the item is in stock to avoid disappointment..
International Orders
Unfortunately we are no longer able to ship to customers outside the UK and Ireland.
Returns and Cancellations
Our returns policy is straight forward: If you've ordered the wrong product, the product didn't meet your expectations or you have just changed your mind, you can return your products for an exchange or refund within 10 days of receiving your order.
To do this please contact us by email or telephone on 01825 722428.
You can choose to have a refund, a replacement, or we can credit your loyalty balance if you think you'll soon be ordering again.
You must return the goods (with a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase) safely to us and you are responsible for the cost in doing so. We can obviously only refund or exchange goods which are unused and unopened, and returned to us undamaged in a as-new condition.
Please remember to include your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt.
Cut to length Leather & Cords: As these products have been cut to your desired length, they're unlikely to be resold so these are unfortunately excluded from our returns policy and can not be returned for a refund.
Photo Polymer Plates: As these products are sensitive to UV light and once they leave us we can no longer guarantee that they have not been exposed to a UV light source (or daylight) they are excluded from our returns policy and can not be returned for a refund. This is noted on the product description page.
FAULTY AND DAMAGED GOODS
If you are returning a product which is faulty/damaged, we will also refund you post charges. Please note - a refund of delivery charges will only be made if a product is found to be faulty or damaged once returned so please call us first so we can discuss the use of the product and the problems you are experiencing, we may be able to rectify any problems over the phone. Faults must be reported within 5 working days of receipt of goods.
PLEASE NOTE: We don't accept liability for goods lost or damaged during transit. Please ensure you pack items so they are adequately protected to avoid any damage in the post. You are also advised to return goods by recorded delivery, as we will not be responsible for lost parcels. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
Payment
Online credit card payments are now processed by EKM Pay which is provided by ClearAccept for your added security.
Errors & Omissions
Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission on the website or in any document issued by Paula Louise Paton shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Paula Louise Paton.
