This ultra fine needle tool has a much thinner tip than the standard needle tool and is ideal for cutting out templates. It cuts through wet clay perfectly and produces less drag, a smaller reduction in pendant size (due to the clay that's removed by the width of the needle tool used) and less sanding in the dry clay stage. The tip is case-hardened spring tool steel mounted into a no-roll handle. Overall length is approx 15cm with a 0.4mm tip.
